I dont mind Chromas been something that people need to pay for, I would love that they were tied to Champion Masteries but I am ok with that not been the case, what I dislike is the idea that they charge so much for so little and that the Chromas dont apply to skins aswell. You can sometimes find them in bundles or on sale during events, but most Legacy skins above 520 RP are available through Mystery Gifting and Hextech Crafting. Look at HotS, the game pretty much gives away this and they are tied with Champion mastery, not only that! they are also tied to your skins and sometimes not only they change the color of your hero but also slightly change how the character looks (ETC is one of the best examples with this). Legacy skins are fairly rare skins that aren't normally available for purchase in the store. With Chromas I completely disagree in many levels, first they are charging so much for so little, color swapping a champion and then asking for money, work that could be done in 1-2 days of work? To be honest people have been doing this for an already long time and there are works out there that are even better than the things Riot have been showing. I just bought Coven Zyra and friend wanted to buy me some chromas.
Came back a week ago with some friends and we’re on a gifting spree. There are things that I do understand and support like the launcher and stuff like that, things that could take some time not because they lack the money but things that just take time to be built. The League of Legends client has seen its front page transformed and replaced by a map containing 9 champions that you must click in order to begin their story and start earning their favor. Almost 2022 and we still can’t gift Chromas to friends.
